Completamente atrasada com minhas leituras da Arqueiro este mês, mas o trabalho está me fazendo atrasar as leituras e resenhas, por isso, só no último dia do mês de agosto venho trazendo minha primeira leitura dos lançamentos de agosto.
Hoje venho como um trecho do segundo livro da série Noites em Florença, e como eu ainda não tinha divulgado a capa... vejam que lindeza!
Ontem cometi um erro, e ao invés de programar este trecho para hoje, acabei postando ontem, tive que tirar do ar, para quem ainda não viu em outros blogs... sintam a beleza da capa do livro e para quem lê em inglês, vejam o que nos espera.
Recebi o ARC deste livro que é o primeiro de uma série de dois autores internacionais e vamos começar a divulgar seu trabalho aqui no Brasil, já que um deles é brasileiro. Por enquanto vamos falar sobre os livros em inglês e quem sabe conseguimos trabalhar tão bem que alguma editora vai querer trazer e lançar por aqui, em português.I received the ARC of this book which is the first in a series of two international authors and we will start promoting their work here in Brazil, since one of them is Brazilian. For now let's talk about the books in English and maybe we can work so well that some publisher will want to bring and launch here, in Portuguese.
A série é um gênero bem interessante, os autores definem como Romantica (uma fusão entre o Romance e o erótico). The series is a very interesting genre, the authors define as Romantica (a fusion of romance and erotic).
Eu 'defino' como Suspense romântico com várias coisas que amo (I 'define' as Romantic Suspense with several things like):
romance da melhor qualidade, um casal fofo e muito inteligente (romance of the highest quality, a cute and very intelligent couple);
aventuras com estilo James Bond e Trilogia Bourne, minha amada Série Mortal (adventures like James Bond series and Bourne Trilogy, and my beloved In Death Series);
e apesar de ser uma série não há cliffhanger (aquele estilo literário que sempre fica um nó desatado, geralmente complicado, para o próximo livro). and despite being a series there no cliffhanger (one literary style that always gets a knot untied, usually complicated, for the next book).

Because of a problem with a service of James Security that was being driven by Cassandra she will try to figure out how to find the thief of the project and ends up going to the NSA, where Trevor because of a comment of his friend, George Miller, over a research he has just researching and trying to hide his trail, but Cassandra discovers he entered the file and go there to find out why. But when Cassandra and Trevor are seen wich other... can't help but feel a strong attraction that binds them... even after a harsh conversation, interrupted by her 'friend' jealous of Cassandra, which Trevor dubs Bruce Banner (the man behind the Hulk), I love Trevor play.

Como vocês sabem, eu amo livros policiais, mas eu amo ainda mais romances, e quando se une romance (amor) e suspense policial (não que Countermeasure seja policial, mas tem uma investigação muito inteligente) e os 'suspense investigativo' unido ao romance me fez gostar muito do livro. Por exemplo a série de Patricia Cornwell (Scarpetta) não me atende completamente pela falta de romance do bom.
As you know, I love detective stories, but I love even more novels, and when it unites romance (love) and crime thriller (not that Countermeasure be police, but has a very smart research) and 'investigative thriller' attached to romance It made me like the book very much. For example the Patricia Cornwell's series (Scarpetta) does not meet me completely by the lack of the good romance.
A série já tem dois livros completos, nos EUA conhecidos como 'Novel' e treze 'short stories' divididas em 'bits e bytes of life', pequenas histórias, que estão intercaladas com os livros, e apesar de ainda não ter lido me parecem ter cenas mais quentes (romances mais picantes). Vocês ainda vão ouvir bastante sobre a série Countermeasure (Contra medida)!
The series already has two complete books in the US known as 'Novel' and thirteen short stories divided in 'bits and bytes of life', which are interspersed with the novels, and despite I having not read yet seem to have more hot scenes (spicier romances). You'll still hear a lot about the Countermeasure series (Contra measure)!

Eu li 'Entre o agora e o nunca' e 'Entre o agora e o sempre' e amei... amei muito, muito. Nao li nenhum livro da série 'Na companhia de assassinos' ... e nem 'Song of the fireflies', que faz parte da mesma categoria da história de Camryn e Andrew e de 'The moment of letting go' (NEW ADULT Contemporary Romance). Por causa de Andrew e Camryn, quando vi que teria Booktour deste livro me inscrevi e hoje venho falar sobre 'THE MOMENTE OF LETTING GO, lançamento em inglês, hoje.
I read ''The Edge of never e The Edge of always' and loved ... loved very, very much. I not read any book in the series 'In the Company of Killers' ... nor 'Song of the fireflies', which is part of the same kind in the history of Camryn and Andrew and 'The moment of letting go'. Because of Andrew and Camryn when I saw that this book would Booktour I signed up and I come today to tell me about 'THE MOMENT OF LETTING GO', release today.
